Here's is my review of the Art of Charm. I took the program a while back and posted a review on my blog. The Art of Charm Live in Attraction program was the second bootcamp I took. My first bootcamp expierence was with Pickup 101.

The months following my first bootcamp experience were extremely difficult. I wanted to be better with woman and I just wasn’t seeing any results. I would go out on my own and fight approach anxiety all night long. My nights consisted of me doing one approach and going home. I was in a new city with no friends. I was alone and unhappy. I would take a two and half hour bus ride home to NYC on most weekends. The alternative was to stay in my empty apartment and play the same two video games I owned or watch old movies on Netflix. One weekend while surfing the web looking for wings, I came across an ad that offered a free intro seminar on attraction. It was from a company I'd never heard of before called the Art of Charm. I decided I had nothing to loose by attending so I hopped on the train and I was there an hour later. I sat and listened to some rocker looking guy talk about a map of interaction. It was interesting stuff. I wasn't quite sold on the program though. I asked the guys from the company if they were going out that night and they told me they would be at a club not too far from my house with a few students... That night I went there alone and met up with them.

They had three students and I watched these students open set after set. Some of the guys were doing better than others. I also noticed one of their instructors; a fellow by the name of Kevin just tearing the place apart. I had never seen anyone work the room with such craft and skill. I kept in touch with some of the guys and a week later signed up for a bootcamp. I was scheduled to attend a few months later.

The five day live in program is exhausting both mentally and physically. First day of the program involved 5 hours of classroom instruction followed by an assessment night. During this initial field night we show the instructors how good we are and they determine what we need to work on. The next day they offered individual feedback. I remember the instructors taking notes on us in the club lol

Over the next few days we learned about different elements of attraction and rapport. We learned how to be better individuals beyond pickup which has proved to be incredibly valuable to me. One of the most important lessons I learned involved giving value to others to increase your own worth. It has had a major impact on my life. The instructors; John Dzubak and Alex Weber were immensely helpful. They were forceful when they needed to be while being supportive at the same time. I also was able to talk openly and honestly about certain insecurities and limiting beliefs I had. Kevin helped me to deal with these issues.

Pro's- The program is unique. There isn’t anything like it out there in the community. Their method isn’t rocket science. It’s easy to understand and apply. The exercises are helpful and force you out of your comfort zone. They provide excellent feedback. The AoC program is five days long. While I do not believe five days is nearly sufficient enough to make lasting change, it is however better than the standard three day bootcamp offered by most PUA companies. The instructors are available for help after the program. One of their employees named Berto has helped me even till this day. I see him occasionally out in the field and he's become a trusted friend beyond pickup.

I remember once after the program I met up with some of the Charm guys on a field night. I was having an especially difficult night and asked AJ Harbinger for some feedback. He offered me some infield advice and the day after he sent me a Facebook message that I’ve posted below (some edits to conceal personal information)

    Hey _______,

I wanted to let you know that you are being too hard on yourself who is starting a cycle of pushing harder for results --> when you do not get them you get down on yourself and then you push harder. The only result that you need to focus on is number of smiles you put on girls faces per night.

I really think you need to focus more on staying in interactions without bailing. That was why I said ok now is when you need to start getting BLOWN OUT. As in while I watched you, you bailed on girls that were beginning to find you attractive and you blew yourself out. Go in with the intent of getting her to smile and open up and only leave when she tells you too verbally or physically by turning away from you.

You need to not focus on end results but the process of lengthening the interactions.

When I saw you rolling endlessly through the club almost on a mission, I knew that your night wasn’t going well because women can sense it. That was why on the field night at ____ I forced you to stay in the interaction and stop moving and you ended up with a date.

    So the take home:

Go out with the intention of having fun and not meeting women
(This will allow your interactions to become genuine and not forceful)

Pick a higher traffic area and while SMILING open up to people that are around you. I recommend dancing or at the bar where girls will be coming up to order drinks (this will get you out of sharking and more into a party zone that attracts women to you)

Get out of the friendly guy category by focusing on touching earlier and escalating (I sense that a lot of girls do not find you as attractive because you are friendly but don’t have that sexual communication coming through in your interactions)

Keep me updated on how that works out for you
    AJ

The instructors stay involved with your progress even after your program concludes if you make the effort to reach out to them. I've learned as much following the program as I had during the program from these guys.

Conclusion- The most important thing I’ve learned from the Charm guys is that this bootcamp does not solve your problems overnight. This is not a magic pill. The Art Of Charm gives you the tools to get your life rolling in the right direction. I would say take the program and be prepared to change your life. Stay tuned for a review on the Art Of Charm's Advanced Rapport and Seduction..
